MUST WATCH: Uber vehicle set on fire as antibodies take to the streets

By Stuart Lowman

Change threatens. And it’s driven by innovation which makes certain expertise obsolete.

So there’s kickback, a form of antibody, as people’s power, jobs or status is threatened.

But when it turns violent there has to be consequences.

It’s not a new story but I heard (video evidence confirms below) for the first time catching an Uber this week. And the fear is still there in the drivers after a car was burnt, with the driver sustaining injuries.

The problem with such action is innovation eventually trumps, so it’s pointless to leave harm in its way.

As H.G. Wells says ‘Adapt or perish, now as ever, is nature’s inexorable imperative.’
