Interviewing leadership guru Simon Sinek – simply inspirational

Enjoyed a memorable interview last night with best-selling author Simon Sinek (“Start with why” and “Leaders eat last”). His Ted Talks contribution of 2009 has been watched by 26m people, making it one of the three most watched presentations of all time.

Sinek has a close connection to South Africa. Born in London’s Little SA (Wimbledon), he spent his first five years here and still has family who live in the country. He resisted the temptation to comment on SA’s leadership crisis, but did offer detailed explanation of the differences between good and bad leaders.

Have a listen (it’s on Biznews) and make up your own mind of how you’d score South Africa’s current political leadership on the Sinek scale. And learn how each of us can make a positive difference. Simply inspirational.
