Watching Parliament TV; and why it looks like a race for second place

By Stuart Lowman

I found myself captivated by the change in Parliament this week during President Cyril Ramaphosa’s question and answer session.

It was a stark difference from the performing arts showcased by Jacob Zuma, amplified by the opposition parties heckles of “pay back the money”.

From a presidential point of view Cyril is a class above, but it’s in the opposition that the story lies.

The targets of abuse have shifted away from the ANC towards one another, whether it be the DA, EFF or even Agang.

No longer the easy target, the ANC is sure to build on this momentum… both in and out of Parliament.
