Mailbox: Thanks for nothing, Telkom

After the best part of a month our Telkom supplied ADSL is still more off than on. Try calling 10210 if you have an hour or two to spare. They don’t normally answer but eventually they tell you that the fault has already been reported. They repeat your reference number.

How useful is that? They seem to think that acknowledging & logging the fault is the end of their responsibility.
Can anyone in the Biznews community help?

By the way, this is not in a rural area. This is Sandton.

The Telkom share keeps going up. Is this because they are still collecting the income without the costs of service? Buyer beware.
