The next step is for Jaguar Land Rover’s Advanced Research Centre in the UK to install new road surface sensing technology in their Range Rover Evoque research vehicle, including an advanced forward-facing stereoscopic digital camera. That’ll be able to see an upcoming pothole and alert the driver before hitting it. Very nifty indeed.
