Apple has announced that it will be hosting an event on September 12 at which is it widely expected to release three new smartphone models. Most analysts expect to see a refreshed iPhone X, a larger, premium model, and a new cheap model that is larger than the existing iPhone SE and available in many colours.

The iPhone remains Appleโs most important product (although other segments, like Services, are growing fast), and Apple has been successful at raising revenues even as unit sales growth has flattened out thanks to its premium pricing. Warren Buffett recently topped up on Apple stock โ and declared that the iPhone, which sells for an average of $800, is enormously under-priced for what you get. There seem to be few clouds on the Apple horizon.
