🔒 Drop everything and watch this amazing Google Maps video on SA

By Felicity Duncan

A friend of mine shared this video with me a few days ago. It tells the story of how a group of South Africans partnered with Google Maps to create lovingly detailed visual, interactive, 360-degree maps of some of the country’s beautiful hikes. The project is not recent, but somehow, I had never encountered it before and I’m glad I finally have.

If you, likewise, have never heard of this project, I urge you to watch the video and take a look at the beautiful images and digital walking tours of iconic beauty spots like the Kruger Park on the Discover Africa site. It’s a spectacular way to start your day.
