When government intervenes to keep petrol prices down one has to feel relief.
An intervention such as this, even better received on the back of South Africa’s fall into recession this week, begs further questioning though … as they say ‘the devil is always in the detail’.
As Ted Hughes said: “Nothing is free. Everything has to be paid for.”
So, who will pick up this tab?
