PSG Wealth Melrose Arch, is pleased to announce that wealth manager Andrew Kurten has joined the office.

Andrew is regarded as one of the top wealth managers in the country, with various awards and achievements behind his name. He has 15 years of experience in the banking industry and is skilled in portfolio management, financial planning, and retirement strategies. He is a qualified CFP® with a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning and specialises in investments and securities.

Prior to joining PSG, he consistently ranked in the top 10 of FNB Private Wealth’s advisers. More recently he achieved the number one and two ranking for 2016 and 2017 respectively. His commitment to excellence and maintaining a high standard of professionalism is what brought him to Melrose Arch.

“We are excited about this appointment as we are highly selective about our team, and finding exceptional talent is not always easy,” says Heinrich Richter of PSG Wealth Melrose Arch.

“Andrew has a remarkable track record given his age, and he brings a range of skills and capabilities that will benefit our clients,” said Richter.

Andrew joins the existing team of 11 advisers based in Melrose Arch. The core of this team (Don Richter, Heinrich Richter and Chris Jarrett) have been working together servicing multiple generations of clients for 20 years.

“We have a strong relationship with our community of clients who have been with us for decades, and most new clients are referred to us through word of mouth, which is something we are very proud of,” says Richter.

The PSG Wealth Melrose Arch office specialises in investments, which includes local and offshore share portfolios, fund management, and retirement planning. They deal mostly with high net worth individuals and families who typically have a minimum of R 1 million to invest.

“Our wealth managers are truly independent and offer all the most appropriate shares, unit trusts and investment products locally and globally”, says Richter.

PSG Wealth is a division of PSG Konsult, a leading independent financial services group. PSG has the largest network of independent financial advisers in Southern Africa. They currently have over 780 advisers in over 200 offices across SA.

“As PSG continues to grow its national footprint, we aim to ensure we maintain the exceptional standard of independent advice and service that our clients have come to expect of us,” said Dan Hugo, CEO of Distribution at PSG. “Therefore, we are extremely pleased to welcome an adviser of Andrew’s stature to our firm.”
