Embattled mobile network Cell C has rejected an offer to purchase from fixed and wireless operator Telkom, stating transactions with JSE-listed Blue Label Telecoms are still taking place.
Telkom is considering a bid of as much as $1 billion for wireless operator Cell C, which has missed debt payments and is trying to complete a recapitalization, according to three people familiar with matter.
