Johan van Zyl of Stonehage features prominently in the Biznews Radio debut after popping into the studio for a more in-depth discussion yesterday afternoon. His business caters to the Ultra High Net Worth market. To get in the door you need net assets of US$20m. Two insights from the chat that were rather instructive: Of three SA offices, he said, one is in Stellenbosch. And of roughly 1 000 clients – virtually all of South African origin – less than half actually still live in the country. Draw your own conclusions.
