Have invested a few days, literally, in working through the detail of the VBS report. Time well spent, considering the scale and relevance of the plunder.
Am sure the next few days will be similarly rewarding as they’ll be invested in analysing retired Judge Robert Nugent’s interim report on the SA Revenue Services investigation.
And once that’s been dealt with, there’s reams of documentation from the Zondo Commission on State Capture.
What a great time to be a journalist. Spoilt for choice we are. And supported by knowing we’re living in a special time – a period in history when the young democracy’s foundations are being laid.
