The first smart partnership we cemented at Biznews.com was with data provider Profile Media. Its co-owner Ernie Alexander is an old friend and peerless in his field. The Profile team pulled together a treasure chest of data on JSE listed companies for the site. It's been fine-tuned and I find the section indispensable, clicking through to it several times daily.

It hit me when showing an amazed friend around, that we need to better explain what's available. Even though it's all on Biznews – for free of course – too much data can become intimidating. So over the past few days I've put together a couple of "How To" videos. They're short and very much to the point: one explains how to access what is literally a library of up to date company news and information; the other focuses on through the day share price movements.
