The statistics are shocking. According to the World Health Association, more than 1.2 million people die in road crashes worldwide each year, with driver behaviour responsible for 80-90% of these fatalities. Road traffic injuries are estimated to be the eighth leading cause of death globally and distracted driving is increasingly becoming an issue as mobile phone usage soared.
