Eskom: Let’s celebrate, we’ve gone 18 days without loadshedding

“Eskom has met the country’s electricity demand while operating its generation fleet in a sustainable manner for over two weeks, resulting in no load shedding for 18 consecutive days,” the power utility said in a statement.

“We would like to thank our customers for their patience and support in using electricity sparingly during the early morning and evening peak periods. Every little bit of savings goes a long way in assisting us to manage the demand and supply of electricity and to reduce the risk of load shedding.” – News24
