Andrew graduated with a MCom in Economic Science from Wits in 2009, for which he was awarded the Economic Research Southern Africa prize for Masters in Economics. He is currently completing his PhD where he is researching fundamental momentum within company earnings.

Outgoing CIO, Dr Adrian Saville, says "I have had the privilege of working closely with Andrew over eight-and-a-half years.  He has incredible capability and an impressive record.  I am proud to be handing over the role of CIO to a person of Andrew's stature and experience.  Our clients are in solid hands with Andrew and I believe that he will be instrumental in taking Cannon Asset Managers to new heights."

Saville, who founded Cannon 17 years ago, moves from CIO to Chief Strategist and retains all his portfolio management functions at Cannon. Geoff Blount, MD of Cannon Asset Managers noted that "The move not only gives us an excellent new CIO who takes over as custodian of our process and investment team, but also frees up Adrian to focus on portfolio management and investment strategy for Cannon.  Adrian will retain his role as Chief Strategist for Citadel, another subsidiary in the Peregrine Group.
