October PPI slows to 6.7%
South Africa's producer price inflation slowed to 6.7 percent year-on-year in October from 6.9 percent in September, the statistics office said on Thursday.
Economists had expected PPI to slow to 6.6 percent year-on-year.
On a month-on-month basis, prices at the factory gate were up 0.3 percent in October after edging up 0.1 percent previously, against market expectations for a 0.14 percent increase.
