UK tech mogul Mike Lynch among those missing after storm sinks yacht off Sicily
A violent storm off Sicily led to the sinking of the luxury yacht "Bayesian" early Monday, resulting in one death and leaving six people, including British tech entrepreneur Mike Lynch and his daughter, missing. The 56-meter sailboat, carrying 22 people, was anchored near Porticello when it was struck by the storm. Fifteen survivors were rescued, but Lynch and his 18-year-old daughter remain unaccounted for. The Italian coast guard is investigating the incident.
