Zuma and his deployed cadre Didiza – Have no fear; ANC will win Tshwane.
ANC President Jacob Zuma says the Tshwane municipality will not be wrestled away from the organisation in the upcoming elections.
Either the opinion polls are horribly wrong, or South African President Jacob Zuma lives in a bubble of distorted reality. The latest polls give the ruling ANC less than a quarter of the vote in the Tshwane metro. Yet Zuma and his "deployed cadre" Thoko Didiza (her words, not mine) are basking in the belief that despite all the evidence that locals hated Zuma's mayoral choice, the ANC's "voting cattle" (again, Malema's words, not mine) will win the day. Democrats will be hoping a very sharp pin pricks that bubble on August 3. – Alec Hogg
