Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos: Naughty texts were sold by his girlfriend’s brother – The Wall Street Journal
DUBLIN — A few weeks ago Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos grabbed headlines by revealing what appeared to be a blackmail attempt by US tabloid the National Enquirer. According to Bezos, the newspaper's publisher threatened to publish compromising photographs of him if he didn't do certain things. Bezos was particularly concerned about how the publication got hold of his private texts and private selfies. It seems the mystery has now been solved – his girlfriend's brother sold them. It's a fairly sordid tale. Personally, I hope that as we see more and more stories like this, we will become less and less interested in people's nude selfies. Surveys show that millions and millions of people have sent nude photos to their partners, particularly among people under 45. In other words, many of tomorrow's politicians, CEOs, and celebrities will have nude selfies out in the cloud by the time they become famous. We're going to have to get over this soon and move on to more important issues. – Felicity Duncan
