The best travel apps for your next trip – The Wall Street Journal
I don't know about you, but long weekends make me think about even longer weekends and taking trips to exotic places. Travelling to a new and unknown destination can be thrilling, but it can also be stressful. Without any local knowledge, it can be tough to find the right restaurant or even an ATM. I've been on trips where I've ended up eating a series of forgettable, touristy meals because I didn't know where to go for the good stuff. Sometimes, even finding major tourist attractions can be tricky when there are major language barriers and you can't read the street signs. Luckily, the world of travel apps is constantly growing and expanding, and there are plenty of options to help the wayward traveller navigate unknown waters. Now all you need to do is make sure you sign up for roaming cell service. – Felicity Duncan
