Blood clot insanity hits J&J vaccine – With insights from The Wall Street Journal

Scientists are probing cause of blood clots that affected six recipients of Johnson & Johnson’s viral-vector vaccine, says The Wall Street Journal.

Rational minds cannot help marvelling at the hypocrisy of politicians. Blood clots have been discovered in six J&J vaccinated Americans now being monitored. All are women aged under 50. So far a total of 7m Americans have vaccinated with the J&J product. As a result of the blood clots, the US has paused all J&J vaccinations, stalling the re-opening of the US economy. For context, each day, for every 7 million Americans who venture onto that nation's roads, 72 are killed in car accidents. In the video which YouTube pulled down, PANDA's Nick Hudson pointed out those in power make decisions without conducting even a basic cost-benefit analysis. Or even thinking through some obvious questions like, in this case, a) Why stop vaccinations for everyone, particularly those outside the affected group (women under 50) and/or b) Why is there so much attention on a rare vaccine side effect that could kill when there is no similar attention in an area where 12 times as many people actually die daily? Military intelligence is often quoted as a good example of an oxymoron. Perhaps Politicians' should replace the word Military. – Alec Hogg
