Premium: More good news on BNC#4 – KZN Midlands’ political disruptor to join us

Some really good news for you on BNC#4. Received confirmation last night that Chris Pappas, the 30 year old dynamo transforming politics in the KZN Midlands, will be joining us at the end of August. The DA's executive mayor of uMngeni has agreed to deliver a keynote on the Wednesday morning (Aug 31).

His timing was perfect as Clive, Jeanette and I spent the past two days at Champagne Sports Resort, finalising upgrades planned for our tribe's next twice-a-year gathering. It was also a chance to trim the 'maybe's', so as of this morning we now have eight of the 152 CSR hotel rooms available. The Day Passes (and our alternative suggestion of Champagne Castle) are also proving popular.

Our partners at Champagne Sports tell us occupancies at the hotel are significantly higher than they were pre-Covid. South Africans appear to have rekindled their love of the beautiful 'Berg – many guests at the hotel having returned there for the first time in years.
