Peep inside Elon Musk’s SpaceX space rocket – The Wall Street Journal
SpaceX postponed the launch of two NASA astronauts into orbit Wednesday afternoon because of stormy weather, including a tornado warning.
If South Africa-born tech entrepreneur Elon Musk can get his SpaceX rocket into orbit at the weekend, he will have taken a giant leap forward for commercial space journeys. The launch was postponed from Wednesday at the last-minute. As US President Donald Trump notes, space travel is a dangerous business. Musk has ambitions to get people to Mars, though the first step is to work for NASA so that its astronauts can stop hitching rides with Russians into space. The businessman has an impressive track record for pioneering technological advances in a range of fields and changing the way the world works. These include developing PayPal, Tesla electric cars and environmentally friendly batteries. – Jackie Cameron
