Musk tries to defend controversial tweet – The Wall Street Journal
Elon Musk has been burnt by the SEC already for tweeting about taking Tesla private and he's trying to defend his calling a Thai cave diver a paedophile.
JOHANNESBURG — In many ways, Elon Musk is no different to Donald Trump when it comes to using Twitter. Both men simply type out whatever they like on the social media platform. Musk, though, has been burnt by the SEC already for tweeting about taking Tesla private (when that really wasn't the truth). Now he's trying to defend his calling a Thai cave diver a paedophile on Twitter earlier this year. That tweet came out of the blue as well and Musk's defence looks as if it won't hold water. – Gareth van Zyl
