Presidents, members of the world’s royal families and even the police in certain countries have some of the world’s best cars. This infographic reveals some of the more interesting choices, together with a short features list that includes space-age materials like kevlar and titanium. That’s the sort of stuff that protects the crown jewels while they’re popping out for a pint of milk, or in South Africa’s case off to meet wife no 5 for coffee.
The police on the other hand have some mighty impressive sports cars. Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche. It’s a list that makes me think joining the force might not be such a bad thing.
Interestingly there’s a level of patriotism in the vehicle selections as well; as local manufacturers are preferred over imports. Even if it means driving a Toyota. Good on you Mr Japanese King. – Miles Downard
