VIDEO: Racing tractor makes farming a lot more interesting
The thought of driving a tractor isn't a pretty one. If they're not plodding along a farm road, or ploughing a field at 0.1 miles/hour, they're inevitably holding up traffic, bumbling aimlessly along a main road in some one-horse-town.
But not this tractor. No, no. That's because this bucket of rusty bolts (called the Vianor 'Tracktor Terror') is powered by a turbocharged motor from a Volvo 940. It produces 170kW, goes like the clappers and is very, very tail happy.
The driver of this insane beast, Rickard Nilsson, is clearly mental – fit for the most padded of padded cells. Some might say he's the Ken Block of the agricultural world. I think we would agree.
So strap yourself in for an epic ride. Who said farming was boring?
