Your car got keyless entry? Here’s a list of vehicles at risk of being hacked
Last week we discovered a story about a potential security flaw in your car's electronic immobilizer system.The research team responsible detail how the cryptography and authentication protocol used in the Megamos Crypto key transponder can be targeted by malicious hackers looking to steal your car.

If you happen to own one (or many) of the above, you're a bit out of luck. There is no quick fix to this problem. Your immobilizer is integral to how you get in to – and start – your car. And it's the device itself that is the weak point. There's no software update that can resolve the issue.
It will be very interesting to see how the motoring manufacturer's respond to this issue – might we see some global recalls? I think so.
