Elon Musk is his own worst enemy – The Wall Street Journal
DUBLIN – Elon Musk is a controversial figure. He has a legion of devoted fans and admirers who believe that he is a bona fide genius, a revolutionary who is changing the world in much the same way that Thomas Edison or Henry Ford did. And he has plenty of detractors, who see him as volatile, prone to over-promising and under-delivering and incapable of steering his companies in a responsible way. Whatever your opinion of the man, however, you can likely agree that his worst enemy is himself. Some of his decisions, like the ill-fated Tesla buyout tweet and its fallout, are huge own goals that have left him in a defensive crouch of his own making. As the Tesla Model 3 ramp up continues, Musk must come to terms with his own strengths and weaknesses and must make decisions in the best interest of the business.  – Felicity Duncan
