Now, Chinese online game giant (and core Naspers holding) Tencent is looking to offer parents a helping hand..___STEADY_PAYWALL___.The company plans to verify the identities of all its online players and limit everyone under 12 to just one hour of playtime a day. The move comes in response, not to parents' pleas, but to moves by China's central government to tighten rules on online games, which is worries are too violent and addictive. While I, personally, do not like the idea of such an intrusive state and corporation, I also do wish that someone would limit me to one hour of screen time a day.
