The unorthodox perspectives of Biznews.com’s Alec Hogg align well with his entrepreneurial approach to business. The founder of internet portals Biznews and Moneyweb has a record of embracing disruptive ideas, especially in media, his sector of focus. Here is a recording of one of his rare “unplugged, unscripted and undictated” presentations – this time, in mid-September 2019 to a packed hall adjoining the historic St Francis Anglican Church in Parkview, his old stamping ground. It was organised by Bart Cox as part of his monthly “Parkviews” series which helps raise funds for the church’s community outreach programmes.
