Fifteen Fun Facts about SA v Argentina

The bookies reckon the Springboks will win tomorrow’s clash against the Pumas by a mere two points. Clearly they’re factoring in the home ground advantage and the resurgence of Argentine rugby. The Pumas looked better in the Rugby Championship Test in Nelspruit than the 7-point difference suggests, and nearly caused an upset the last time the two teams met in Salta in 2014. Since then Argentina has recorded its first win over South Africa (last year in Durban, 37-25), and their confidence will be sky-high. We could go on and on with the speculation, so here’re some fun facts to keep you amused or to impress your mates depending on how you want to use them. – David O’Sullivan
