European drugmakers outperform their American rivals, and firms like ASML and Novo Nordisk lead globally in innovation. Smaller listed companies in Europe deliver impressive returns, and balanced investment strategies often pay off. With patient shareholders and undervalued markets, European businesses could yet surprise, even as their American counterparts dominate the headlines.
