Have been doing a lot of reading about Warren Buffett lately. The Oracle of Omaha remains a role model for anyone who sides with the gentle face of capitalism – something much needed in this age of excessive greed and abuse of executive power.

Two things stand out.

Buffett, who tuns 85 at the end of August, still tap dances into his office seven days a week. He keeps a clean diary, reads a lot and spends much of his time thinking. He does what he loves.

The other bit of priceless advice from Buffett is to be happy in your career, avoid working with people who churn your stomach. In his words "It's like marrying for money. A bad idea anytime, but insane if you're already rich."
