Team mutiny? Why they’ll make, or break you

So if as a manager you ever doubt the power of the team, think again. And if you think this is a once off, just ask Jose Mourinho what happened to him.

It was the Romeo and Juliet love affair of the football world. The Italian tinker-man Claudio Ranieri brought the English Premier League title to Leicester. A 5000-1 shot.

Fast forward 10 months later, and that love affair was over as the champions found themselves once again fighting relegation, having not won one league game in the 2017 calendar year.

The players have denied a mutiny but the performances since Ranieri's dismissal suggest otherwise. Played 5, won 5. And they're the only English team left in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

So if as a manager you ever doubt the power of the team, think again. And if you think this is a once off, just ask Jose Mourinho what happened to him.
