It's an unprecedented attack. The United States Capitol, stormed by a mob of angry pro-Trump rioters. One of America's most recognisable buildings found itself embroiled in chaos, as a myriad of rioters and looters breached the perimeter of the 228 year old building. Once again secured, the violent uproar has ended with four dead. What led to this political violence and public disorder? As Congress met to verify the results of the election, Trump gave a speech, stating 'We will never give up. We will never concede'. According to The Wall Street Journal, Trump 'urged the crowd to march down to Pennsylvania Avenue to the Capitol'. Has Biden's hope for a reunited America been dashed? Below, Gerald F.
