For Americans, the new listing market is starting to feel decidedly like 1999 – the zenith of the dotcom boom. The frenzy was replicated in SA where, in July of that year, I listed my little startup Moneyweb Holdings at a forward PE multiple of over 100 – and didn't have nearly enough stock available to satisfy professional investors.
