Although the classic approach for disrupters is start ugly and improve from a low base, that approach is not easily followed in live broadcasting. The complexities of safely transmitting a live stream; getting the format right; and settling a presenter’s nerves forces you into lots of pre-planning. And with our first live show only a few days away, our team is hard at it…
Between 5:30 and 6:30 pm yesterday, anchor Jackie Cameron hosted an ‘as live’ episode of the BizNews Power Hour, which we officially launch coming Monday on Fine Music Radio and as a global livestream. Dino Zuccollo (above), chair of the 12J Association, was our first in-studio guest. As you can see in the background, the team from Solid Gold were still sorting out the sound cladding.
Getting the format and content right is no easy task. Without feedback from an audience, however, it’s virtully impossible to know whether you’re hitting the right notes. We’d dearly like to make the BizNews Power Hour memorable from the off. To do this, we need your help.

Please help us by having a listen to last night’s dry run, treat it as a sneak preview if you like. And please let me have your ideas on how we can improve ([email protected]). Tweaks are sure to take the show from good to great. But without feedback we have little idea what to change. Thanks in advance. Click on this link to listen to the dry run: https://iono.fm/e/1002167
