This is not your usual Rational Perspective newsletter. Today is the 8th anniversary of BizNews.com's birth. Unfortunately, we did not keep a screenshot of the site's very first day. The clickable pic above, from the Wayback Machine, is the closest we can get to Day One. BizNews has come a long way..The site began as Biznewz.biz because this was the closest we could get to the internet address we wanted. It was only months later that we discovered the Russian owners of Biznews.com were prepared to sell. Although costing small fortune, it was a good investment. Last month the BizNews brand directly touched the lives of 1.6m people..___STEADY_PAYWALL___.The last eight years have been an incredible adventure. Continuous losses part-funded by "anywhere, anytime" keynote presentations and a growing group of supporters enabled us to slowly reach and surpass the financial tipping point. Today BizNews is not just a much needed independent voice, it's also a resilient, sustainable business that's continuing to grow exponentially..This being the era of covid, today's birthday bash is – once again – being held as a remote celebration.
