Unfortunately this week saw our household become part of the statistics as our home was broken into, thankfully not violent but they did get away with a couple of laptops.
I was however pleasantly surprised with the police service after, they arrived promptly and the investigating officer and fingerprint team soon after that.
The next day the investigating officer called with an update, and it all worked as it should. It led me to agree with forensic investigator Paul O’Sullivan who says most police officers are good people. Unfortunately, our perceptions are wrongly shaped by the actions of the few top brass.
It’s a challenge but in life we must try not let the 20% impact our judgement on the 80%.
