As the 2024 US election unfolded, a distinct shift in voter sentiment became apparent. While previous elections were driven by opposition to candidates, this time Trump's appeal grew, even among traditionally progressive voters. His outsider persona, unfiltered rhetoric, and anti-establishment stance resonated with many. Unlike in 2016 or 2020, voters weren't settling for the lesser evil—they were endorsing Trump. His rise signals a broader shift in the political landscape, one that Democrats failed to fully grasp.
