Joined the firm in 1978 and left after completion of training contract in 1981 to spend a year with one of the South African investment banks.
Admitted to partnership in 1989 after having completed a two year secondment in the firm’s London office.
Responsible for driving the Financial Services strategy for Advisory, Assurance and Tax. Developed and launched Financial Services thought leadership material such as the Strategic and Emerging Issues surveys in Banking, those in other Financial Services areas and taking various global thought leadership material to the market.

Lead various services to the Big Four South African banks, as well as a number of foreign and smaller SA banks, in various capacities.

As part of his responsibilities as lead engagement partner on the SA Breweries International operations , had the opportunity to travel and work in various countries across Africa, Europe, Hong Kong and China .
