August 4th is marked in red letters on Biznews calendars. Because on that day it will be exactly five years since we opened our virtual doors to the world as a pretty rough and ready little adventure hosted at Biznewz.biz.
This year we’ll be celebrating our birthday in the way that any online publication should – with a virtual party. Not a party in the traditional sense, actually an online gathering, known in internet jargon as a webinar (the world wide web version of a seminar – geddit?). To minimise inconvenience, we’re holding our 5th birthday webinar a day ahead of the actual anniversary – this Friday at 10am South African time.
I’ll be sharing “The Biznews Story…” and as ever our managing editor Stuart Lowman will be on hand to relay questions. We’ll share our purpose, introduce the champions who work here, lift the veil on some of the fun we’ve had in the past five years, and dip into some of the memorial moments. So join us Friday tea time in front of your computer with a cuppa handy.
