A very different website will greet you when logging in to Biznews.com this morning. I love it and hope you will too. We’ve done a lot of under-the-hood upgrading. Something which was overdue as our publishing engine was more than five years old – a vintage in tech terms.
We’ve used the opportunity to freshen up the site’s look and feel, and also improve its loading speed. Part of the project has been to add value for Biznews Premium subscribers, including a by-name greeting (see top right) and a members-only internet radio station.
The station, Biznews LIVE, is top of the right hand column in the Premium section (just above the Daily Flash Briefing), with a click delivering access to our best interviews interspersed with easy listening music. We’re already experimenting with live programming and will be building up a head of steam in the new year.
