Wisdom from man with biggest fan club of any CEO, anywhere. It’s all yours.
Saturday's Berkshire Hathaway AGM was held a week early this year. Which is what happens when its normal slot in the first weekend of May clashes with Mother's Day. One of many nice touches from chairman Warren Buffett, the world's greatest investor.
This year, instead of making the trip to Omaha, I stayed home. And as often happens with such things, it worked out just dandy. For the first time ever the AGM was webcast (setting an example for every other company). Berkshire jumping into the digital age meant we could all follow the action – especially those of us without a budget that includes paying for the world's highest priced one star hotels.
The webcast has also massively improved AGM coverage for the Biznews community. This year we were able to record and transcribe the five hour long question and answers section – which is now available for you to consume at your leisure.
It provides a permanent, accurate and accessible record of undistllled wisdom from Omaha's Oracle and his 95 year old business partner Charlie Munger. Please go have a look – the stories are prominently displayed on Biznews this morning. You'll soon discover why Buffett has the biggest fan club of any CEO anywhere.

Dear Alec,
So glad to see your mail this morning. I almost thought you are busy moving to the UK already and forgot to say that you could not get out a mail yesterday, but then I remembered, it was a holiday yesterday. Rusty disputed all the oil here in Kuwait. Thanks for the transcribe, cannot wait to read it tonight, Poor Charie's Almanac would have to wait for an eve or two.
