Stock markets are on what Bloomberg described as an' epic rollercoaster ride that is similar to some of the worst years in market history'. There are comparisons to the credit crunch of 2008/9, while some say it looks more like the Great Depression. Some traders have folded their umbrellas, zipped up their bear suits and are ready to jump back into the stock market. If you are sitting on a huge pile of cash; there are bargains to be had. But that is not what Berkshire Hathaway's vice chairman Charlie Munger is doing. Munger, who is well-suited to a longer view as he turned 96 years old this year, says he is "watching and waiting." The coronavirus has frozen investment plans. And for a man who probably knows better what the Great Depression looks like than anybody else, Munger says he does not think there will be a "long-lasting Great Depression." – Linda van Tilburg
